Who will earn their way into the 2026 Epson Copper Rock Championship? Sponsor Exemptions are awarded to the winner of the Epson Copper Rock Championship Qualifier (Low Pro & Low Amateur), UGA Women's Winterchamps & Utah PGA.
Haley Sturgeon is an accomplished golf professional and respected leader in Utah golf, recognized for her competitive excellence and advocacy for women’s golf. An inaugural member of the women’s golf team at Dixie State University (now Utah Tech), she was a two-time PacWest Conference Champion, Conference Player of the Year, and an All-American.
She competed professionally on the Cactus Tour and is a seven-time Utah PGA Women’s Player of the Year (2019–2025), a four-time Women’s Utah PGA Match Play Champion, and the 2025 Utah Section Assistant Professional of the Year. Her career includes numerous Utah Section victories, multiple top-10 finishes in both men’s and women’s events, and an overall championship at The Copper Club Open.
Beyond competition, Haley has played a significant role in advancing women’s golf in Utah, including helping build Utah Tech’s inaugural women’s program, serving as the only non-staff woman on the Utah PGA Tournament Committee, and leading the effort to bring the Utah Women’s Open to The Country Club while increasing the event purse.
A resilient professional and mother, Haley continues to balance elite competition, full-time work, and family life while serving as a strong ambassador for the game.
